I Spy a Bargain

Look what I just found at Goodwill! I was so excited when I saw them. Then I saw the price tag...$2.99! They are brand new. Woo hoo! Target carries them here for $29.99. What a steal!

I have the perfect spot for them....right above Claire's crib.

Now I am eating leftover rigatoni (yum!) and admiring my newly cut hair and manicured nails. I had my first EVER manicure today. I have been trying to grow out my nails and quit chewing on them. It has paid off! They were finally long (for me!) and strong enough for a manicure. See?

As you can see, I am enjoying my kid-free day!

  2. I'm jealous of your kid-free day and manicure!
Are the letters fabric covered? Just wait till you see what I'm making for above Addison's crib! (if it turns out, since I'm the non-crafter!)

  3. I can hardly keep up. Each time I come over there are thirty seven new posts :-) Love your mani. I ignore my nails. Makes it too hard to type. But my toes...those are always done. Even in winter when I hide them...I *know* they look pretty :-)

  6. Oh, that is a steal! I love shopping at goodwill - I found the cutest owl ceramic cup that is now my pen holder on my desk at work for only 50 cents! And I love how they get target stuff somehow. I will have to swing by my local store now - maybe I will find something good!

  7. I love the seductive way your hand is draped across the keyboard. Nice. You look familiar, hand model maybe? I may have seen you in an ad for Sally Hanson. I like your work. Very natural.

  8. From one nail biter to another -- well done! I go through stages: not biting for 5 months, biting for 2, and so on. Very strange, but a huge jump from my first 18 years of all biting.

  9. Carrie-Girl, you are cracking me up! Oh, my husband hates when girls say, "Girl." He says you know a phrase is worn out when 30 something suburban white women are using it.
I do love a good Goodwill find. Typically it's books or the occasional toy for the kids. And the manicure? Definitely going back for more!
