Russian Peasant Situation

A month or so ago, I wrote this post with the ever popular Russian Peasant pic of my daughter. It cracks me up everytime I see it so I plan on having a larger print made of it. My problem? After picniking my butt off, I can't decide which one to have printed. I need your help. Leave a comment letting me know which pic you like the best. Here are our options:

Option 1: Straight out of the camera, as originally posted

Option 2: Enhanced color

Option 3: Sepia with a little color coming through

Option 4: Black and white

Option 5: Sepia

Whatcha think? Do you like one better than the rest? Your input is greatly appreciated.

Also, don't forget about the purse giveaway. Drawing ends tomorrow at 5:00 p.m!

  1. I like the 2nd and 3rd photos the best.:)
My favorite part of the picture though, is the fact that she is wearing two styles of shoes.
    Too cute.

  2. That sepia with a little color coming through is awesome. I love that picture of her. It always gives me such a huge grin...

  3. I think I'd go with Option 3. She's a little Russian peasant, so I think that this style gives it a sort of aged, WWII-era photo feel. Almost like a picture you would expect your grandmother to have of herself when she's younger.

  4. I love the 3rd one. The sepia with a little colour, just really makes an awesome photo even more awesome!!!

She is such a cutie, odd shoes and all...

  5. I vote #3 because the different colors she put together are a big part of what make the picture so great.

    My second choice is #1

  6. Sepia with a little color. Or just print them all and hand them out to the fam after you pick your fav in person. I still need to print mine, but must get Shawn to tell me how to get some off the external hard drive whatever thingie from earlier this year.

  8. Sepia with a little color just gives it that "I really am an old russian peasant in a toddler's body" feel. That picture is definitely priceless, and one you would want to used at every future occasion for her (birthdays, graduations, weddings, etc.)

  16. I like option 4, but you can't see her darling matched shoes, so I would go with #3. She is way toooo cute!

  18. Hmmmm....I'm torn because I like Option #1 and Option #3 equally...but for different reasons. I like the realness of #1...but the oldtimeyness of #3.
Sorry, I'm really bad at making decisions....looks like #3 is winning with everyone else right now though....
I swear though...she reminds me of my Grandma in this picture (I meant that as a compliment and I loved my Grandma dearly)...I just think she wore the same outfit before...maybe her shoes matched though....although I'm not sure about that either.

  19. That is really an awesome picture! Way too cute. I hadn't seen it before, and I love it!

I like the second and third ones the best, and I think I agree with everyone that #3 is THE ONE. Go for it!!

I love that you've been picniking your butt off. I'm a sucker for fun terminology and new words.

  21. Ok the last photo makes her plight look all the worse.

But, honestly I know if those were my photos I could never choose.

    I LOVE THEM ALL!

The sepia with a little color wins hands down. Also, love the color enhanced one.

  23. I vote Sepia with the color coming through...it screams RUSSIAON PEASANT. And I love that.

Wait are you still taking votes? Regardless, there's my 2 cents.

  24. I like the enhanced color or the black and white.

Although the sepia and B&W's don't do justice to that little hat she's wearing, which is such a cute part of the picture.

Maybe B&W with no vignette around it....
