Halloween 2009, better known as "I can't decide what I want to wear for Halloween 2009"

Decisions, decisions.

What to dress up as on Halloween is one of life's greatest decisions when you are a kid.

For the past week, the kids have decided between:

*hunters
*a farmer
*a princess
*a cowboy
*a racecar driver
*a fireman
*a tractor
*a cheerleader
*a dinosaur
*a pumpkin
*a horse
and
*a unicorn

*sigh*

About 30 minutes before trick-or-treating, they had finally decided upon a dinosaur and a racecar driver.

5 minutes before trick-or-treating? Little Miss was changing costumes. Again.

The final decision? A princess and a racecar driver.

Nevermind the fact that the Little Miss wears this dress nearly every day.

What's important is that they had fun, got loads of candy, and were home and in bed by 8:00 p.m.

Now that's what I call a Happy Halloween.

  2. Try to redo the whole decision making process and get pics of each outfit! That would be fun, for us to see. I do love the race car driver and the princess. Bet they got lots of goodies.

Well...Halloween doesn't come on a Saturday all that often, you know:)

They looked great!!! As a dinosaur AND a princess:)

  10. Oh, I forgot to tell you...when we got to my uncles house his JD was sitting out by the driveshed. You know Matthew's love for JD, he asked my uncle if it was his favourite too? He answered not really he goes for orange.

    Matthew was appalled!!

  18. Glad to know that my kids weren't the only ones who couldn't decide on costumes this year - well, my girls couldn't decide - the boy wanted to be a cowboy and a cowboy he was!

  19. I thought I got lucky this year when the young un wanted the same ninja suit he had last year. I neglected to notice that he had grown 2.5 inches since last wearing it and we had to make an emergency run to goodwill for black pants.

  22. Oh, my gosh! That is so funny that they changed their minds at the last minute! She is really cute as a princess, and I totally understand looking at a closet full of clothes feeling like I have nothing to wear...oh, a girl is born.

Let's just call my caramel apple post a PSA for teachers, shall we?
