Sucker

Cole has been trading little plastic animals with another boy at daycare. A lion for a tiger, a cow for a pig, etc. No big deal. Cole is always so excited each day to show me what he traded for.

Today was no exception.

When we were in the car, Cole exclaimed, "I gave my plastic fish to B today!"

I asked him what he traded it for.

Wait for it...

A plastic soda lid and 2 popcorn kernels.

Seriously.

I'm pretty sure someone got screwed on that deal.

  1. hehehehe....he might need someone to intervene on his behalf. But I bet he was happy with the trade...and that's all that matters.

  2. I bet he thought he got the cement footer of a grain bin, and corn to fill the bin. ; )

  3. My son asked for a certain toy for weeks, and he finally got it last weekend. He loved it for two days before trading it for a crappy little lego man, which he promptly lost at beavers.

  11. Who knows what little guys are thinking when they are making trades. Maybe Cole thought he could plant the kernels and grow some corn. As long as he is happy(we know the other guy is), that's all that matters.
