What I've Been Up To

*Giving away these John Deere backpacks. Contest ends Monday.

*Mentally preparing for the fact that I start school in 6 days. Excuse me while I vomit.

*Enjoying a day at the spa. You know it's bad when they break out the goggles.

*Making this. So proud of myself for the lattice crust.

*Making the cutest kid food ever! Just look how clever. The kids loved it! I got the idea from here, who got it from here, who got it from here, who I am pretty sure got it from Kevin Bacon.

*Watching Little Miss and Jose do yoga. This is a pose Jose was born to do.

*Stressing the importance of dental hygiene. At least someone was listening.

*Enjoying the view.

What about you? Been up to anything fun?

Great pictures. I never thought to do that with hot dogs. I'll have to try it the next time the nephew comes over.

What have I been up too? Hmmm...lets see I work harder at home than I do at work. So that pretty much sums up my summer!

That macaroni with the hot dogs in it is so awesome, I will have to try that someday! The pic crust is pretty perfect, and I'm quite jealous!

I am going to try the weiner pasta!

I have never made a pie in my life because I do not like pie. Mushy fruit makes me vomit.....

Love the downward dog poses ! and the hotdogs on pasta. Do you use spaghetti sauce or ketchup with that?

That is the neatest idea EVER for the hot dogs!

It's a shame I kindof think it's gross to eat them with spaghetti;(

These are great. I start going in to school Monday, only because I'm on a few committees. Plus, my classroom is still in boxes from my move, so I need to get on that. All things considered, though, I'm excited about teaching 6th grade this year (one house, one grade, in stead of 3 grades, nine houses, and 14 EBD kids on my caseload). I'm really looking forward to the new school year. Good luck to you, too!

Lucky little Miss. Wish I had a yoga buddy. Maybe then I'd yoga more.

So ripping off the recipe you ripped off. I will be the hero of da house!

What are those flowers? I have some, and my MIL calls them Naked Ladies, so that's what I call em, but I'm sure there's a more technical/appropriate name. But they're outside my bedroom window, so I'm happy to call them naked ladies.
And I'm very impressed with your pie. And I'm also vomiting about Thursday. GAG!

I love that hot dog idea! Great tip -- that'll get the kids on board for spaghetti night! :)

We've been enjoying that my husband started his new job yesterday, and so far it's great. Great company, great bosses, great co-workers, and it's local. You can't beat that. Oh, and my kids are at Gramma's house for the week, so you KNOW we're enjoying some peace and quiet. Ahhhh.

That pie is beautiful! Spaghetti through hot dogs, who would have thought! We have eaten hot dogs cut up in macaroni and cheese but this would have never occurred to me. Neat.
