Cole had a visit to the fire station last week with my mom and husband. (Long story-let's just say it was yet another Mother of the Year moment I had while driving around for a school meeting crying as I tried to coordinate someone, anyone, to get my little guy to the fire station.) It all worked out, as it usually does, and he had a wonderful time.
My little town does not have a Target. I know, for real! But, the town about 30 minutes away where I spend the majority of my time does. And guess what? They are expanding their grocery section! This makes me a very happy person. Because now I don't have to drive an hour away for special "Target only"foods like these. And I nearly died on the spot from the cuteness of these raisins. Look how tiny. The box on the right is a little individual size box. The box on the left is like a mini-me box. Like seriously I think it holds 6 raisins. Who knew a box of raisins could be so freaking cute?!
Do you ever get to the grocery store and wonder, "Do we have ______? Or should I pick some up?" You can fill the blank in with anything: a gallon of milk, bread, butter, etc. Appparently I need to open my refrigerator once in awhile.
I give you exhibit A.
Why yes, that is 7 containers of sour cream. Don't ask. I have no idea.
You have 2 (count them...2!) days left to enter my "spring has sprung" giveaway. (What a joke...spring has sprung. It's about 28 degrees!) Nevertheless, if you haven't yet entered for the basket o' goodies, click here.
Now if you will excuse me, I am off to finish Friday Night Knitting Club. It was a little slow going at first, but has gotten better and I am determined to finish it tonight!

Poor little Jose, he's cute.
And hey, I have those little mini-me Target brand raisins in my cupboard, as we speak. Aren't they almost too adorable to eat?
I'm telling you right now I LOL when I saw all that sour cream.....I'm cracking UP! For reals, I'll stop talking about hairy legs too! You hold the power to make me laugh almost daily!
Hey! You stole all my sour cream!!! I swear, I always have 5 tubs of it in my fridge!
I think sour cream is one of those things that you blank out on. I seriously am always standing in the grocery aisle debating whether or not we have it, and I can't bear the thougt of NOT having it with the dinner I am planning, so I buy another one.
And that is how you and I end up with seven!
I got you beat! We are over an hour from TARGET!! UGH! Oh and the sour cream-i have 3 tubs right now-for HEAVENS SAKES! We are alike!
there are no super targets here, I miss them immensely.
Jose has that 'Just wait till you fall asleep' look in his eyes. Poor thing..but Jose, listen to your um, it is for the best !! :-)
Seven tubs of sour cream?? Mind you, I can't talk, I found three tubs in my fridge when I was cleaning it out recently...
Yay for neutering Jose! Hope he feels better quickly.
And OMG, did you finish the book? I just finished it last night...SO good!
Maybe Jose will hang close to home now that his bags have been unpacked.
And you might want to think about including a vat of sour cream in the basket o' goodies for the winner of your giveaway.
lol I do that with salt. Hope Jose rests and heals quickly.
Glad Jose is reasting comfortably on the laundry! Why do dogs think its so much better if they lay on clothes? My dog will curl her very large self onto Zilla tiny (HA!) t-shirts and lay there - like thats gonna cushion the floor?
LMFAO on the sour cream!!! I do that with canned veggies - I have a TON of corn and stewed tomatoes in my cabinet right now!
OMG! Thank goodness there is someone else in the world that overbuys!
I have 5 bottles of maple syrup and 4 bottles of ranch dressing in my cupboard!
I cracked up at all your sour cream!! I can honestly say we have NO sour cream in our fridge. I know, sad. I think you bought it all!
Your sour cream is my angel hair spaghetti. I have so many boxes in my pantry!
Have you finished your book? Speak up when you do and we'll chat.
Is the giveaway prize a carton of sour cream?
Yeah, the nearest Target to me is about 30 minutes. It isn't a super Target, so no big grocery section. :(
I read Friday Night Knititng Club. I loved it. It reminded me a lot of my friendships--we all have different stories, but we all hang in there for each other through the good and the bad.
I wish we had a Target in our town...there is always a rumor but it never turns into anything. The closet one is about 20 minutes away.
I had to GO BACK to the store for sour cream the other night....wish you were my neighbor!!
By the way, it is almost 80 degrees in Texas right now!!
awww poor balless Jose...my heart goes out to you my neutered buddy! And I totally understand the sour cream issue. I had 4 cans of cloves once. I don't think I've ever used a clove in my entire life. I'm pretty sure they were breeding in my spice cabinet...I guess their momma was nicer than Jose's and didn't take them for a ride.
I tagged you for a meme on my blog! Oh, and I am a fan of your blog...go see that too!
