John Deere Heaven

If you're looking for my spring giveaway, click here.

All the playgrounds in the world can't compare to Daddy's work. Toys, tractors, combines, loaders...the poor kid has so much to look at he doesn't even know where to start. And mommy likes it because this controlled environment is much more safe (and less smelly!) than the farming work that they do.

John Deere heaven is right ! I'm glad to see Lil'Miss knows how to dress right for every occasion. = )
Grandma might need to know one of those toys that are "needed" for someone's Easter basket.

Oh yeah. My kids are nuts too. We can't start up a tractor, Bob Cat or even the riding mower without someone yelling to us that they want to jump on!

He's in Tractor Heaven !!!

That video is so funny, he really is having a lot of trouble deciding what he wants ... toooo cute :-)

Little Miss is as cute as ever...I just want to love them chubby cheeks and that huge grin. She sort of smiles with her whole body! Adorable :-)

She so does not look like the devil in her princess dress and what can I say about Cole?? Those are priceless moments that you will look back on one day and cry. (or I would bc I'm a big cry baby) How cute is he pointing and wanting....A-FREAKIN-DORABLE!

Hey....

My ex used to work for Deere, putting together skid-stears.

I won't hold that against you.

THose are GREAT pictures!

my 55 year old father acts like this around JDs and I can recall many a blissful hour spent riding in the combine during harvest. Those bowed windows make you feel like you're going to fall forward into the header.

Your comment literally cracked me up! The one about your inside slender young lady having coffee with mine. Loved it!

Love your pix today! It's been beautiful here, so we took a nice walk this afternoon in the sunshine

Totally awesome! I showed this to my 4 year old, who's currently competing for the title of Biggest John Deere Fan EVER, and all he could say was a quiet, "wow."

I have 3 'big city' city boys who dearly love to come here to the John Deere playground at the mall. And they still love all the tractors and skid loaders and cultivaters and plows and wagons.....and a big old pile of dirt. It is so much fun to watch.
I agree. Someday you will look back at these and get misty.
P.S. Lil Miss Claire is a doll.

I love all these Day in the Life photos. Have you ever considered making a hardbound book of a day like this? I do this from time to time, and the results are really cool.

I always enjoy the cute pix of your little ones.

OMG it is Heaven! The green and yellow blood runs deep over here (now 3 generations) so they would just die! Whenever we pass a dealership my husband slows down and stares like a kid in a candy store. When we drove from GA to AL I'm convinced that my husband planned the route we drove so that he could pass by the maximum number of tractor dealerships - he denies it but I think he's full of it. Zilla always yells "cat!!" when he sees them - thats what he calls the deer emblem - i dont' know where he got that but he loves to see the "cats" LOL!

My kids would be in heaven. When they were smaller and we'd go into Home Depot they would run for the ride-on mowers--jump on them with me behind going "No, don't jump on those. Hey, we need to go find out stuff. Come on, get OFF the tractors!" Can you imagine them with REAL tractors?

LM in that dress just CRACKS me up!!!

What a very good best ever day :)

I love the second picture of Cole as he's looking through the wire on the tractor. So professional looking!

Am I sad that it took me a second viewing to realize the kids were sitting on wheels???
