Single Digits

That's right. 9 days of school. Man, that feels good to say. 9 is easy. What isn't easy is pretending that it's school as usual for 9 more days. But I can certainly manage. I just keep pretending I don't know how many days are left when the kids ask. :) If only they knew I was counting down the minutes!

If you are looking for something to do, head over to Google Doodle and vote for the best kid-designed Google Doodle. My class submitted entries, but unfortunately none were chosen. There are some amazing artists in the Top 10. So go check it out and vote for your favorite in each age group.

Mine only has 7 days left...and I am counting down for the opposite reasons :-)

Have you done the corn cupcakes and the Bob nametags yet?

Great doodles! I'm still bummed the breast cancer one from your class didn't place!
Conference was tense, but ended well--placed him. We were all on pins and needles waiting for Dad to explode, but D diffused it successfully.

Goodness, we still 17 days left! Not that I'm counting or anything.

We have seven days left and I'm not the only one in this house that's very excited - summer, we're ready for you!!!

I don't think there's anything better than hanging out with my boys. I usually have to give them a week or so to get their fights out since they're not used to being together all day, and then it's good.

Sarah and Mrs. 4444-Definitely glad I am not at your schools right now. When do you start school? I will be thinking about you in a week!
Kat-Planning on doing the corn/Bob business the very last day. And actually I had to change the cupcake plan. I can't find the dang yellow Jelly Bellys without paying like 60 bucks online. So, I am buying corn chips, corn nuts, and candy corn (if I can find it.)
Sari-I definintely love my summer, but going from working full time to being a SAHM is a tough adjustment. I have to remind myself to enjoy our time and not stress about everything!
Deb-I totally thought the breast cancer or fish doodle win get a nod...but not so much. The ones they picked are really good, except the dumb one from our region. Figures.
