So, I have been doing really well with eating smaller portions, better, healthier food, etc. I kind of follow Weight Watchers points and just control what I eat. The cravings have subsided. If I need something sweet I have a 1 point WW snack or a Special K bar. I have been drinking lots of water, walking (when stupid meetings and conferences don't interfere) and doing a bit of Tae-Bo at home.
I weighed myself today and was XXX.5 (I am not sure why that is underlined! I hope it's not a link to a porn site. So sorry if it is! I blame my husband.) So anyway, I called my Dr. because I had been weighed there on Dec. 6 but closed my eyes due to the horror of the digits that I knew would come up. The nurse told me that on Dec. 6 I had weighed XXX.5. Want to know the difference in those seemingly similar Xs?
Drum roll please...I have lost 16 pounds! Holy crap! Now, those are of you that see me everyday might be skeptical, but it's really true. So as soon as I lose, like, a bunch more weight and stop hiding in loose, non-form fitting clothes, you will be able to see for yourself! :)
Bring on the bridesmaid dress!
