Scrapblog

In less than an hour, I have developed a new addiction. First it was blogging, then Picnik, now thanks to my bloggy friend, Tina, it's Scrapblog. My hands are numb from carpal tunnel, my eyes are bloodshot, the laundry is piling up, and the house has been overtaken by two very small, very grubby little terrors.

Although I love to buy scrapbooking supplies (believe me...I LOVE to buy them) I am very bad at actually putting it all together which leaves me with a closet full of stickers, paper, etc and several unfinished scrapbooks.

This, my friends, is the answer to my dreams. I can play around with my pictures using premade designs, add my own personal touches, include text, stickers, frames, you name it...they have it.
I started Scrapblogging this morning around 7:00 a.m. and haven't stopped. Here are some of my creations so far (in addition to the super cute header up there!)

I may become a freak and start changing my header all.the.time. just because I CAN! I already have a header ready to go as soon as the guys start harvesting wheat. Okay, enough chit chat. Off to scrapblog!

I am also a scrapbooker. I have delved into digital this past year. Love it...and there is NO cleanup. Are your blog pictures of paper or digital layouts? And I also love premade stuff. Cuts down on the time. Cute pages!

Okay. By "scrapbooker," by any chance do you mean someone who has all the supplies necessary to create three or four scrapbooks but whose photos are in complete disarray and disorganization and stuffed into boxes, envelopes and bags?

If THAT'S what you mean, then I'm a scrapbooker.

I might just love this online thing. And I might just hate you for it. With love, of course. With love.

I can't figure out how to make it my header, either! I've tried multiple things and nothing is working. I don't wanna mess with my template html for fear of screwing it all up. Help?

I know what you mean about Scrapblog....I discovered it a few months ago and it is absolutely addictive.

I plan on changing my blog layout every so often....and scrapblog is definitely good for that.

Wow! LOVE the new header! And thanks for the warning; I'm going to avoid that place like the plague; I've already got too many dishes to do, laundry piling up, etc! Have fun!

Uh, yeah.

You can't scrap 'n run. How do we put our lovely creations into our headers, smarty pants??

I figured it out.

You go up into File and select "save as jpeg."

Then when you edit your layout, you choose the jpeg file for your header picture.

There is no Off position on the Genius switch, girls.

I finally figured it out I just had to pay more attention!
I'm so glad that your loving it!!!

Woo hoo! So exciting! Glad you are all having fun playing! Isn't it addictive? I am so thankful to Tina for telling me about it...my husband and kids? Not so much...

OMG did you do this particular subject because I have lost that scrapping feeling? LOL

I am going to give it a shot, but if its too complicated, I'm out, LOL

I haven't tried digiscrapping yet but knowing I could make my header look better just might get me to try it. I have to go watch the swimming trials first and then I'll be back to see what kind of addiction I can get myself involved in next!

Lane Boyz Mom-It's super easy...but be prepared not to sleep tonight if you go there.

Rene-Be prepared. If you go there, you won't come back. Really. It's that addictive.

I spent over an hour on mine the other day and forgot how to save it to my files and then deleted it all accidently! Haven't been back since, but it is what I use for my headings for my blog.

Great, thanks! Now I can go back to my evil, bloggy addicted ways.

Tutorial, please. Because while I have an entire room in my home devoted to scrapbooking, blogging keeps me from cropping. Your new way seems easier. So please...share all. I would grateful. So would my 6 year old, as I am still working on her 3rd year album. And my 2.5 year old, who has month 6 of her 1st year album completed. Oh, I just made myself sick. Sigh...

Of course the peasant is there, taunting me with her goodness... you and I would so be friends. The love of crock pots. The obsession with photos. Wine.

I'm purposefully not going to check out that link now. I WILL later, when I have time to stay there awhile. I, too, have scrapbooking supplies in a box in my basement. I have lots of pictures in my computer. I think this is great.

I'm in agreement with everyone else, you must do an entry with a tutorial on how to change the header!

My dh found your blog the other night when googling how to restore a john deere tractor and found your blog. He said, "I found a blog you'd like". I told him, "Yeah, it's already in my favorites"! LOL

We have a 1941 A that's in the process of being restored :)

I'm glad to see the Russian Peasant is immortalized in your header because she makes me happy. Very, very happy.

I might actually scrapbook if I could do it digitally.

I just took a quick look at both sites. I think I might be seriously in danger of getting addicted as well...

Oh, no you didn't!! You just shared your new addiction with me, and now I'm going to get addicted too, because that's how I roll.

Forget sleep tonight...I have a feeling I'll be up late...

You have a cute new header, by the way. :o)
